Academic Mentor helps international academics, professionals and executives, as well as universities and companies, to master demanding academic and economic challenges with confidence — soundly grounded, multilingual, and with practical knowledge of the German, Spanish and European education and business landscapes.
Academic Mentor is a personally led academic coaching, knowledge and consulting platform by Prof. Dr. Roland Brandtjen. At its heart is the question of how students, researchers, professionals and organisations can develop complex knowledge clearly, methodically soundly and in a practically applicable way. A particular focus is on academic writing: from the research question, through structuring and methodological planning, to preparing an academic work. This is explicitly not about ghostwriting, but about strengthening academic independence, methodological confidence and academic integrity. The personal guidance is complemented by digital tools: the Academic Panic Score, the CLEAR method, a Socratic assistant, an integrity trail and an academic dictionary. Beyond this, Academic Mentor offers personal office hours, tutoring, exam preparation, methodology and language boosters, and professional language and education coaching. A further business area is B2B consulting: professorial advice, workshops, in-house training, briefings and short reports on economics, markets, law, compliance, management and European policy. The particular value lies in combining professorial expertise, academic methodology, personal support, digital tools and interdisciplinary competence — with an international perspective and content in German, English and Spanish. Academic Mentor is thus neither a ghostwriting agency nor an ordinary tutoring platform, a mere language school or an impersonal AI application, but a personally led support platform that helps people develop their own academic and professional work more clearly, methodically soundly and with integrity.
